Coffee County criminal records are divided among the sheriff, two courthouse divisions, city police departments, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the Alabama Department of Corrections, and the Alabama Sex Offender Registry. Elba is the county seat, but the eastern court division is in Enterprise and the sheriff's headquarters is in New Brockton.
